Every residence features energy-efficient construction along with exceptional amenities and services, giving you a place designed for living well every day.

Independent living at The Lodge of Northbrook offers the calm, maintenance-free lifestyle you’re looking for, along with a warm and welcoming community you’ll enjoy being part of.
As an entrance-fee community, we use a financial model similar to purchasing a condominium—yet without the added expenses of property taxes or homeowner association fees. Residents pay a one-time, fully refundable entrance fee—starting at $120,000—along with a consistent monthly fee. The monthly fee covers utilities, in-home maintenance, parking, services, amenities, community operations, and more.

What will The Lodge of Northbrook offer me that I don’t have at home?
The benefits are truly numerous! Residents often tell us they value the maintenance-free lifestyle, the abundance of social and educational opportunities, and the reassurance that comes with having support available when life changes. Questions like What if I stop driving? What if stairs become difficult? What if I need a walker or wheelchair? all feel easier to navigate in a community designed with these possibilities in mind.
What happens if I leave town for an extended period?
Not a problem. We can hold your mail, water your plants, and offer other helpful services so you can travel with confidence and enjoy your time away.
Will I be able to decorate my new home?
Yes, you’re welcome to furnish and decorate your new residence to suit your style. If you’d like help connecting with a painter, wallpaper installer, or other decorating professionals, just let us know.
Will there be any stairs in my new home?
Not inside your residence, but there are stairways available if you prefer them instead of the elevator.
Do I have to participate in social activities?
While many residents enjoy our wide range of programs and activities, participation is always completely optional. Each person can choose when and how they’d like to join in.
Can my grandchildren and friends come for an overnight visit?
Absolutely! Family, friends, and grandchildren are always welcome at The Lodge of Northbrook. They’re free to visit, stay overnight in your residence, or you can reserve one of our guest suites for their stay.
What is the first step of getting involved at The Lodge of Northbrook?
